Aerospace Manufacturing Course For Mechanical Engineers
Due to New Civil Aviation Policy 2016, there is a bright future for the Aviation sector in India.
Presently, India ranks 9th in the world’s Civil Aviation Market. it is expected to come to the 3rd position by 2020.
On 4th October 2016, Dassault and Reliance Aerospace announced the formation of Dassault Reliance Aerospace for the production of 36 Rafale jets.
It means that in the future ‘Aerospace Manufacturing Sector will provide more jobs for Mechanical Engineers.
Here I have just mentioned a course named “PG in Aerospace Manufacturing” from Central Tool & Training Room, Bhubaneswar. Brief detail is mentioned below.
Every year they conduct this course. After completion of BTech. degree, you can join it.
I. Post Graduation in Aerospace Manufacturing:-
It is one of the courses for Mechanical, Automobile or production or equivalent Engineers. Trainees will be involved in Live Work of all types of Aerospace Manufacturing Components. Course Contents are as follows:
Software:-Auto CAD,CNC Programming,Master CAM,HYPERMILL & CATIA.
Theory(Technical):-Engineering Drawing, Engineering Material, Production Technology, Metrology, Process Planning, Heat Treatment &Sub Zero Treatment, First Article Inspection, Selection of Cutting Tools & Raw Material for Aerospace Components.
Theory(Non-Technical):- As 9100 & its implementation,Configuration Management,Exposure of AFQMS , 5s & Six Sigma.( Approved Firm and its Quality Management System (AFQMS) certificate to be handed over to CTTC Bhubaneswar by Directorate General of Aeronautical Quality Assurance (DGAQA) in 2015 )
Soft Skill:- Communication Skill, Personality Development, GD & Interview Techniques, etc.
Machine Exposure:- All types of conventional Machine, CNC, EDM & Wirecut, Grinding, Heat Treatment, etc.
