CENTRAL INSTITUTES OF TOOL DESIGN ( CITD ) UNDER MSME IN INDIA

If a Mechanical engineering Graduate wants to make a career in the design sector, he should learn various design software from a reputed design institute.

During your graduation period, you should start the training of design courses. You can also do a seminar & projects on this design software. AutoCAD contains 2D and 3D modeling but it doesn’t contain CAE (Computer-aided Engineering).

Solid works have CAD and CAE & required for 3d molding and suitable small projects and modeling. But for big projects you need CATIA. Unigraphics is advanced high-end CAD/CAM/CAE software.

For learning this software, there are various Central Tool Rooms in India & mentioned below. All these Central Tool Rooms are directly controlled by the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME).
