EMD SUBMISSION IN GEM PORTAL FOR VEHICLE HIRING TENDER

In this post, I am explaining the method of EMD Submission for Vehicle Hiring Tender in GeM Portal.  Normally EMD value is 0.5% of Bid/Tender value.

If a firm has been registered as MSME through the Ministry of Micro, small Medium Enterprises, there is no need to submit EMD charges. EMD charges have been exempted for MSME. However registration process is free & can be done online from Udyam Portal.

Following process is involved for EMD submission in GeM portal for Vehicle Hiring Tender/Bid.

STEP I

First login to GeM portal with id & your password. Go to the Bid section. It is better that write GEM Bid No. & search it. Now you get the exact GeM Bid.

Step II

First, you check bid details. In the case of a vehicle Hiring tender, the name of the Town is very important. Because city name is directly related to your Bid rate for Tender.

Now you click on the participate option. Here you will find Bid Details & Technical Bid. Under the heading of Bid Details, the following points will be shown ( a symbolic  data given) .

6. Bid End Date / Time: 14-12-2020 09:00:00

7. Contract Duration:  2 Years(S)

8. Consignee/Reporting Officer/Delivery

9. Terms and Conditions

10. Project Experience Required: No/Yes

Now you have to fill in various data asked in Technical Data. There are various data to be filled in by the bidder. After filling them, click again on Participate button. Again click on offered price on a monthly basis.

STEP III

Further, you have to upload documents related to the vehicle in pdf format. Then you will get the Draft EMD form. Now print this data on Stamp Paper signed by the Notary officer. Now submit it to Bank & get a Bank guarantee of said value of EMD.

 

STEP IV

Now upload Bank Gurantee in Pdf format on GeM site. Now EMD Submission for Vehicle Hiring Tender in GeM Portal will be completed and your bid will be submitted to buyer. For better experience, see the video.
