HOW TO GET & COPE WITH JOBS IN PRIVATE SECTOR COMPANIES
In this topic, I want to clarify some myths about private Sector jobs.After not getting On-Campus Placement,a student searches job in Private Company.As per AICTE Website,1531447 students passed Engineering courses in 2017-18.In this post contents are following.

I. READY FOR JOBS IN PVT. COMPANIES
Most important thing is to prepare mind & Soul for jobs in Private Sector.It may be possible due to various reasons, you will not prepare for Govt. Sector Jobs such as 1. Not interested to further study after Engineering, 2. Having insufficient Financial support, 3. Not interested in Govt Jobs.
Here I am telling the story of my 6 friends (SA,SAU,AB,Vi, Pu,Pa) who joined M/S Bhusan Steel at Khopoli (Presently take over by TATA Steel).In 2006, Bhushan Steel, Khapoli is the easiest company to get the job for fresher Mechanical Engineers. After 2-3 years of job, all shift themselves other companies.
SA joined JSW Steel, SAU joined Kirloskar Engineering, AB joined Welspun Corp. Vi Joined MBA Finance Course in a reputed college, PU joined as SSE in Indian Railway,PA joined SCI GME Course..
After 1-2 years of job, various problems will be solved automatically as mentioned above. Now you have more industrial information. You can better condition to choose suitable course MTech/ MBA or other courses.
II.FURTHER STUDY OPTION
Just after the end of college study, we choose higher study MTech / MBA as per market demand instead of our interest. So it is better to do a job or internship for 1-2 years. After that choose higher study as per your interest.
III. HOW TO GET JOB IN PVT CO.
Your College name & your better Academic Result are easiest way to get job in Private Sector.But following options will help you to get job inspite of college name &
CONTACTS WITH SENIORS & Alma Matter:-After the end of the 2nd semester, involve yourself in meaningful training courses in every semester vacation.
For the selection of the right course, consult with seniors. You can also take coaching classes for particular job-oriented courses online. Alma matters are very helpful for Off-Campus Placement.
INDUSTRIAL TRAINING:-For getting practical experience, try to get an internship or Industrial Training in a suitable Industry.
TECH FEST & SEMINAR:- Try to attend various inter-college Seminars & Tech Fest. Become a volunteer at various types of activity anywhere in spite of only your college. It develops all shades of your personality.
PROJECT:- Carefully select your Project, it will be the turning point of your career. Bcoz, in every career interview, you will ask various questions from your project, if it is meaningful.
JOB INFO WEBSITE:- There are many websites on a free & paid basis, which give job alerts on daily basis. They also provide mock interviews for practice.
NCS REGISTRATION:-It is Govt. of India’s Website. Login to website National Carrier Service ( NCS). It is like a job exchange. It will helpful for you.
JOIN COURSES:-Join any reputed institute, will provide you 2nd chance of On-Campus. But the course will be as per your interest. You can also join an Apprenticeship via NATS or internship just after the end of the 8th semester.
IV. HOW TO TOLERATE JOB CUT CONDITION
Downsizing of company’s Manpower is a common phenomenon in Private Sector. It is quite different from your talent, dedication & hard work towards the company. The following ways are helpful to overcome such a situation.
Form an emergency fund, which will be sufficient for a minimum of 6-month expenses of Your Family.
Reduce the principal amount of higher interest-bearing Loans/ Debt against you or your family if any.
invest in enhancing your professional skills via an online certificate course.
Start SIP or Mutual fund,u will get a minimum of 11-20 % interest on ur deposited money.
Book Real estate before purchasing of CAR or Expensive Bike.
Generate alternative sources of Income via online or offline pattern.
Creat short-term utilization fund for the marriage of a family member or yourself.
Must take a Term Insurance & Medi Claim.
After the introduction of NPS ( New Pension Scheme), there is no pension amount as earlier.Now it is similar to Pvt. Sector jobs if Pvt. Sector employee book a standard pension plan.
Now matter of Job Security, no organisation wants to remove its competent employee. But if removed due to Downsizing company size or Recession issue,So prepare for it as mentioned above.
It may be possible that initially up to 1-3 years,more work pressure is in Private Sector Job. But after that it is streamlined to comfort level if u want.After your first promotion, you will get more confidence & experience. These will make you stronger.
Try to join a small company as per your interest. Due to smaller size of company,you will get to work multiple desk & it makes you more knowledgeable. But be cautious about company financial health,if any problem,change the company.
Otherwise join Big Company such as TATA,which HR policy is similar to Govt. sector Companies.Better HR Policy will make your life more secure & comfortable in spite of lesser amount of salary.
