The selection process for Junior Associate

Basic Eligibility:

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

OR

Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificates should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before the application date of this job.

 

Computer Literacy: Candidates should have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language. He should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.

 

Compulsory: The test for knowledge of the local language will be conducted as a part of the selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying the online main examination but before joining the Bank.

 

Candidates who fail to qualify for this test will not be offered an appointment. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.

 

NOTE: There is no provision for inter-circle Circle Transfer / Inter-State Transfer for Junior Associates to be recruited.

 

Age Limit:-Not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on date of form application.

 

Job Profile:- Normal duties of the clerk is to receive cheques, drafts, cash passing, and cash payment.

His duties involve holding the bank’s cash, bank keys, and other such valuables in safe custody, jointly with an officer.

Supervision the work of other clerks and sub-staff and accountable and responsible for their concerned staff.

He receives cheques, withdrawal forms etc, updates passbooks, verifies customer’s account details, signature etc.

he has to explain about Bank’s various products and services to customers.

he has to do field works for loan collection, advertisement of the bank policies, etc.

 

Basic Pay:-

Rs. 11765.00 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates in the scale of Rs. 11,765-31,540 with D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.

Preliminary Examination of 01 hour:-

English Language:- 30 questions of 30 marks in 20 minutes.

Numerical Ability:-35 questions of 35 marks in 20 minutes.

Reasoning Ability:-35 questions of 35 marks in 20 minutes.

 

Main Examination:-160 minutes {Time allotted for each test (Separately timed)

Reasoning:-40 questions of 50 marks

English Language:-40 questions of 40 marks in 35 minutes.

Quantitative Aptitude:-50 questions of 50 marks in 45 minutes.

General/Financial Awareness:-50 questions of 50 marks in 35 minutes.

Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude:-50 questions of 60 marks in 45 minutes

Probationary Officer(PO) Selection process

After graduation, this job is one of the best jobs in comparison to Central Government (such as Indian Railway, SSC) & State Government Jobs. Due to the following reasons, you should prepare for this job.

 

It is a public concern job, so u get a more social reputation.

There are scheduled promotion policies either on Normal/Seniority basis or Merit/Fast track Basis.

Anyone, who joined as a PO may reach the position of General Manager in approximately 20 years.

In due course of time, u can get home posting. Only in PSU bank, u can achieve 4-6 promotions in compare to Central & State Government jobs.

Basic Eligibility :

Those who are in the Final Year of their Graduation may also apply, if called for an interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before the notified date.

Age Limit:-Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on date of form application.

 

Basic Pay:-Presently, the starting basic pay is 27,620/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of 23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7-42020 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical, and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.

The total compensation per annum on a CTC basis be a minimum of 8.20 lacs and a maximum of 13.08 lacs depending on the place of posting and other factors. For exact information see notification of published job.

 

Preliminary Examination/Phase-I:-

English Language:- 30 questions in 20 minutes.

Numerical Ability:-35 questions in 20 minutes.

Reasoning Ability:-35 questions in 20 minutes.

Total:-100 marks in 1 hour

 

Main Examination/Phase II:-

Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests and Descriptive Test. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. The Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after completion of the Objective Test.i. OBJECTIVE EXAM

Reasoning & Computer Aptitude:-45 questions of 60 marks in 60 Minutes.

Data Analysis & Interpretation:-35 questions of 60 marks in 45 minutes.

Quantitative Aptitude:-40 questions of 50 marks

General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness:-40 questions of 40 marks in 35 minutes.

Total:-155 questions of 200 marks in 180 minutes.

 

ii. SUBJECTIVE EXAM
The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with two questions for 50 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).

GE & Interview/Phase-III:- Group Exercises are of 20 marks. The interview is of 30 marks. Candidates numbering up to 3 times (approx.) of the category wise vacancies will be shortlisted for the Group Exercise & Interview from the top of the category wise merit list subject to a candidate scoring the minimum aggregate qualifying score.

 

Job Profile:- PO is a multitasking job and he is assigned for various banking activities, which helps them to get the basic idea of various working procedures of the bank.

He is practically trained in various fields, like – Marketing, Accounting, Loans & Advances as well as Finance, Forex.

Sometimes acts as Customer Care executive to guide them about the banking facilities and products available to them.

Supervise the Clerk’s work such as managing cash, opening account, and customer dealing & to check whether Clerk entered everything correctly or not and authorize the transactions.

Providing a loan to the needful person & check all documents before granting the loan & approve the loan.
