There are a number of reasons why IITs are teaching HSS courses.
First, these courses can help students to develop their understanding of the world around them and to become more well-rounded individuals.
.
Second, HSS courses can help students to develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills that are essential for success in today’s world.
.
Third, HSS courses can help students to develop their communication skills, which are important for both personal and professional success.
Many IITs are teaching Humanities & Social Science papers (HSS) on their campus. It consists of all papers from pure Social science papers.
The list is the following such as
Philosophy,
Economics,
English,
Psychology,
Sociology,
Intellectual Property Rights
Fine Arts etc.
As per your child’s demand, you can give him the freedom to choose education according to their interest. In this case, except for Engineering & Medical above papers provide better opportunities through the IIT campus.
There is generally a need for a Master’s Degree for admission in Doctoral Programme at IITs. It means that at age of 23 or 24 years (15 yr + 2 yr + 3yr +2 yr = 23 years) you can take admission in IITs.
Normally IITs provide Rs. 25,000 for Ist & 2nd year and Rs. 28,000 for 3rd & 4th year on monthly basis as stipend money.
