NATS FOR APPRENTICESHIP & NCS FOR JOBS
Today I want to inform you, about the two most useful websites for career 1. NATS ( National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) & 2. NCS ( National Career Service). In Addition to them, I will explain about 1. www.letsintern.com, 2. www.twenty29.com, and 3. www.makeintern.com. These are very useful for finding an internship during your professional courses.
National Apprenticeship Scheme (www.mhrdnats.gov.in):-
This website is for finding Apprenticeships after completion of Degree or Diploma courses in the Technical field. It is set up by the Government of India. Graduate Engineers, Diploma Engineers certificate holders are eligible for registration as Apprentices provided their Apprenticeship contract forms are registered by BOATs / BOPT within a period of 3 years from the date of passing. The basic benefits of an Apprenticeship course are the following.
Here you learn the latest applications, processes, and methodologies in your fields of work after completion of a Technical degree.
It has the double benefit of earning while learning.
It acts as a transition phase for a college student from the classroom to a working background.
You also learn soft skills, work culture, ethics, and organizational behavior while undergoing training. At the end of one year of training, you will get a certificate attesting to their training and proficiency in a particular field.
This serves as an experience certificate of a 1-year job.
Presently, they have launched the PAPE Scheme (Post Apprenticeship Permanent Employment). PAPE enables the candidate who is not employed at the end of the one-year apprenticeship training to search for full-time employment/ self-employment.

REGISTRATION PROCESS:-First you go to the website- www.nats.com. You click on enroLl option. Now application form will be opened. Now follow the instruction given on this page & fill-up the form as per your need.
You will get 3 options i. Student, ii. An Institution & iii. An Establishment, choose Student process further
Now fill in home state name, write Completion of degree & it is a full time/Regular
are part of previous apprentice training except for the sandwich program? -NO
Have work experience? – No
Now kept the ready scanned copy of Aadhar card, email id, valid mobile no., photo in jpeg, bank account details & original/Provisional marks card of degree
Further, in the next stage, you get a set of instructions. After agreeing with them, finally, you get an enrollment form. Now fill it.
Finally, you are registered in NATS.
On the availability of Apprenticeships from any industry, you will get an email about the opportunity.
NOTE:- This apprenticeship does not provide a guarantee of a job, they give only 1-year industry experience.
1. National Career Service (www.ncs.gov.in):-
On this website, you can register as Jobseeker, Employer, Local Service provider, Household User, Skill Provider (Trainer), Counsellor, Placement Organisation, Govt. Department.
For registration, they require Adhaar card, Pancard, Driving Licence, Voter Id. Card or Passport. After registration, you will be informed if there is any suitable opportunity available. Total service is totally free of cost.
2. letsintern ( www.letsintern.com):-
Here you have to register for an internship in various industries. The internship is available course & citywide. During the internship, you will be paid or not. After completion of the internship, you will be provided an Experience certificate.
3. twenty19 (http://www.twenty19.com) :-
This site is concerned with various activities such as training, internship, college event, etc. After registration with them, you will be informed about various types of activity. It is categorized in city & course wise.
4. makeintern (http://www.makeintern.com):
It provides internship offers in nine foreign countries as shown on 27.05.2019. It runs also a workshop for career issues. There are various training programs available here.
